Our community-driven flash mob, Artemis’ Embrace, returns for International Dance Day 2025 in partnership with The Dance Centre!

Conceived and directed by Artistic Director Rachel Helten in collaboration with the dancers, this vibrant dance experience is a joyful celebration of creativity and connection, accompanied by live music from East Van’s funky brass orchestra Balkan Shmalkan.
We had so much fun dancing with the North Vancouver community!
We are so grateful to everyone who joined us for Artemis’ Embrace, an immersive creative dance project celebrating strength, courage, and the power of movement. Together, we explored themes through our own perspectives on freedom of expression, gender identity, femininity, and the power of our uniqueness.
