Mancopy & More Festival
at Dansehallerne,
Copenhagen, Denmark

In November 2012, Paras Terezakis was invited to Conpenhagen, Denmark, by the Mancopy Dansekompagni to teach his contemporary danse workshop ‘Beyond Technique: Expression in Dance’. 

The workshop was featured as part of the Mancopy & More festival at the Dansehallerne – Northern Europe’s largest centre for modern dance. The Dansehallerne combines all the different aspects of modern dance in the Greater Copenhagen area: Dansescenen, Danish Dance Theatre and Dansens Hus. With the festival Mancopy artistic director Jens Bjerregaard pushed the contemporary art form further through the exchange of knowledge and processes, leaving a stronger impact inside and outside the society. 

In the workshop, participants dramatized through physical theatre over the course of a week using familiar myth or story. They examined the relationship between each person on the stage.
